Relations Manager, Karen Smith has been an integral and instrumental part of our
practice since 1986 when it was known as Riegel Animal
Hospital. Karen, a graduate of the Veterinary Technology
Program of Jefferson College in Hillsboro, MO., is a certified
licensed animal technologist. Her knowledge and experience
in holistic veterinary medicine dates to 1994 when Animal
Health & Healing
was formed to better reflect our integrative approach.
Karen can speak with you to determine how our veterinarians
and their various holistic modalities may best serve you
and your pets. |

Business
Manager, Heather Barbee has
been working in veterinary medicine since 1995. She joined
Animal Health & Healing
in 2001. Heather graduated from Southwestern University in
Austin, Texas in 1995 with a B. S. in Biology. She is currently
enrolled in the MBA program at Keller Graduate School of
Management. Her area of emphasis is accounting and she looks
forward to obtaining her CPA degree. Heather has been training
to be our business manager at Animal Health & Healing
since 2006 and officially took the reigns effective 2007. |

Clinic and Surgery Assistant, Deborah Woods has been a loyal, dedicated and valuable part-time member of Animal Health & Healing since 1985. We are pleased to announce that Deborah is now a full-time team member effective October 2008. Deborah brings with her 27 years of clinical, dental, and surgical experience she garnered while working full-time for the Humane Society of Missouri from 1980 to 2007. |
